As the Executive Director of the Caribbean Coastal Area Management Foundation (C-CAM) since 2008, Miss Parchment leads a team of dedicated professionals who work together to enhance the well-being of the communities and ecosystems in the Portland Bight Protected Area. She joined C-CAM in 1998 and has since been instrumental in implementing several projects and programmes that balance the conservation and development of the natural and heritage resources, while striving for the financial sustainability of the organization.
She is also an active member of several national and local committees, such as the Jamaica Fish Sanctuary Network (JFSN), which she chairs, the National Fisheries Advisory Council, and the Clarendon Parish Development Committee. She represents C-CAM at various forums and events at the national, regional and international levels.
